I wish we could go there...
The wind started to blow.
The tree house started to spin.
It spun faster and faster.
Then everything was still.
Absolutely Still.

About Me
Growing up, I did not like to read. If I did read any books, I would read science fiction books, or fiction books. I wasn't really into the non-fiction real life books solely on the fact that I was more into the books that have action in them rather than talking about someone's biography. I usually read before I go to bed for an hour in my living room or my bedroom and I eventually fall asleep. I didn't read books until about middle school.
I started getting into books by just being assigned reading in schoolwork, and after I got more into books, I started to like reading more and more. One of my first chapter books growing up was the Magic Tree House series. My memory is pretty rough about these books, but I just remember these two kids that teleport to some place in some time period using this magical tree house, having these epic journeys. I enjoyed these books to the point that when I bought a new Magic Tree House book, I would finish it in one night. The first time I completed one in one night, I felt very accomplished. From there, I got better at reading and started enjoying reading. These books are what got me interested in reading, based on the fact that it was interesting and had an adventurous story line.
Eventually I reached middle school and high school, where those books were no longer acceptable to be my reading level and I got into the bigger books. I didn't have the motive to read these books, but when my English teacher during my sophomore year suggested to me this book called the Kite Runner, I got really into it. This book lead through a boys life, that was very interesting and it kept me reading. I have always had trouble interpreting books when I read them. I would read, and then have trouble understanding what it was that I just read. But this book was something different. I read it and I understood what was going on. I liked picking this book up, and reading it.
Now I like reading more and enjoying the stories rather than reading them because I was required to.
